1. Scope and operator
This policy explains information processing and choices for No Cold Fries and its privacy and support webpages. The public operator name is jamesanyway. Contact: jamesanyway.dev@gmail.com.
You do not need to create a separate game account to play. The Apple account used for App Store purchases is separate from a game account.
This notice covers the current pre-release game and this website. A service described below is used only where that feature is present and connected in your build; listing a service does not mean it is active in every version.
2. Information by feature
- Game progress and preferences
Progress, shift records, in-game delivery receipts and missions, vehicle and cosmetic selections, nickname, sound and language preferences are stored in the app’s device storage. Game save files and nicknames are not attached to purchase verification, analytics or error reports. The delivery gameplay does not use your precise GPS location.
- Purchase verification and restoration — Apple and RevenueCat
Product display, transaction verification, purchased benefits and restoration may involve purchase-service identifiers, product and transaction details, purchase times, store and entitlement information, and necessary app, device and connection information. Purchase-service reporting and operations are separate from gameplay analytics preferences.
After you read the purchase notice and first connect the service, the app may communicate again on later launches to verify existing purchases and benefits. The App Store handles payment. The operator does not receive card numbers or Apple account passwords.
- Gameplay analytics — Amplitude and GameAnalytics
When analytics is used, predefined events such as feature use, shift starts and ends, accepted and completed orders, and changes to in-game resources, speed or preferences may be processed with app version, platform and service identifiers. Analytics events do not include your name, email, nickname, save file or full purchase receipt.
- Error reports — Firebase Crashlytics
When error reporting is used, crash and error locations, app, operating system and device information, and report or installation identifiers may be processed for diagnosis. Game saves and full purchase receipts are not intentionally attached.
- Advertising and privacy choices — Google AdMob and UMP
Ad delivery, measurement, security and choice management may process ad requests, impressions and interactions, app, device and diagnostic information, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, and permitted identifiers. This is different from accessing precise GPS location.
- Support email and website
If you email support, your sender email, message and voluntary attachments are used to reply and resolve the issue. The webpages provide email links rather than sign-up or inquiry forms.
Cloudflare provides website hosting, delivery and security. Requests may involve IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser or device request information, and security cookies where applicable. These pages do not add gameplay analytics scripts, advertising scripts or an online contact form.
Using a random service identifier does not mean that all information is irreversibly anonymous or that no external collection occurs.
3. Choices and tracking permission
Where a build offers analytics, error reporting or advertising, use the notices and choices provided in that build. Basic play and access to purchases or restoration do not require agreement to unrelated analytics or advertising processing. A purchase-service connection may still be necessary to verify purchases.
On iPhone, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) is a separate choice concerning tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. ATT status, advertising consent and general gameplay analytics are not treated as the same permission.
Turning a choice off concerns later processing. It does not automatically erase all previously transmitted information or store transaction history. Requests concerning information held by external services can be sent using the contact procedure below.
4. Providers and international processing
The game features above may use Apple, RevenueCat, Amplitude, GameAnalytics and Google services. This website is delivered through Cloudflare. Providers may process or store information outside your country, according to the relevant service and its terms.
Pre-release disclosure: release-specific service retention periods, international processing locations and transfer details are still being finalised for the wider public release. We will update this notice before that release or an additional collection service is enabled. For information applicable to your installed test build, contact jamesanyway.dev@gmail.com.
5. Retention and deletion
Local game data may remain until the app’s device data is removed. Operating system backups follow the platform’s settings and policies. Purchase restoration checks purchased products; it is different from recovering all game progress stored only on a device.
Support messages are kept while needed to handle the request and related follow-up or to meet an applicable legal obligation. Do not include information that is unnecessary for support. You may ask us to review or delete a support message using the contact below.
Purchase verification records may need to remain available for continuing purchased benefits, restoration, refunds, security or legal obligations. Analytics, advertising and diagnostic records, where those features are enabled, follow the actual service’s retention and deletion processes. The release-specific periods will be added when the wider-release service configuration is finalised.
Uninstalling the app or changing a choice does not immediately delete store transaction records or all information already sent to external services. Information no longer needed is handled through the relevant deletion procedures, subject to any applicable retention requirements. We do not promise immediate removal from every provider or backup.
6. Privacy requests
For access, correction, deletion, restriction or consent-withdrawal requests, email jamesanyway.dev@gmail.com. Describe the feature or information concerned so that we can explain the available procedure based on information actually held or identifiable, applicable law and provider processes.
If identity verification is necessary, we will explain the minimum information required separately. Do not email passwords, verification codes, card information, full purchase receipts or game save files. Apple’s procedures apply to transactions and refunds that Apple manages.
7. Intended age group
No Cold Fries is not intended for children under 14. Contact jamesanyway.dev@gmail.com for concerns involving a child’s information. This intended audience is separate from a store content rating; local laws may impose additional age or consent requirements.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this page and relevant app notices when processing purposes, information or choices change. Changes requiring additional notice or consent follow the applicable process. The date at the top identifies the latest update.
